Agenda:

Day 1 - Pile Testing and QA Overview, Drilled Shafts Integrity Tests (PIT, CSL, TIP, SHAPE, SQUID)
Day 2 – PDA High Strain Dynamic Pile Testing background, data collection and construction control
Day 3 – Driven Pile Acceptance (PDM and Saximeter), CAPWAP Analysis, HSDPT exam

Pile Dynamics, Inc. As a member of the Leadership Team, Michael has been with GRL/PDI since 1985 and most recently was the Branch Manager of the Ohio office of GRL, before transitioning to a member of the PDI Training and Education Team. He has worked on projects on and off- shore in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Africa, and the Persian Gulf. Michael has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Cleveland State University and a M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Akron. He is a registered professional engineer in Ohio, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Michigan. Michael has achieved Expert level on the PDCA/PDI Dynamic Measurement and Analysis Proficiency Test and holds an “Expert Level” dynamic testing certification from Foundation QA. Michael is a frequent lecturer on foundation testing seminars, workshops, and training events, has several published papers.

Hossein Ahmadi, BE, MSc, MIEAust, CPENG, General Manger, Pile QA Global Consultants, Director, Construction QA Pty Ltd As a principal geotechnical engineer, Hossein is specialized in dynamic pile testing with Master level certification in both PDCA/PDI and FQA examination systems. He has more than 20 years’ experience in providing high level pile testing, analysis, and training services to the clients from Australia, New Zealand, Türkiye, Norway, Italy, Greece, India, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Oman. Thanks to his multicultural career, Hossein has a noble understanding of various pile acceptance practices in different countries. He is the founder and manager of Pile QA group based in Melbourne and Ankara.
